Each year in November, Tamar NRM hosts the week long ‘Catch it in the Catchment’ in the Tamar estuary catchment. The event draws attention to the impact of human activity on the network of streams, creeks, rivulets and the estuary itself. As well as removing rubbish from the Tamar estuary it provides an opportunity to deliver structured community education, identify rubbish Hot Spots, and highlight the positive impact community clean-up events can have on the overall quantity of the catchment area – many people doing a little bit in their patch to benefit the overall system.

Follow all of the action and get involved via the Catch it in the Catchment Facebook page.
