Tasmania: In or out of the Global Agenda for Sustainability?
Tasmania has an opportunity to align to global frameworks on sustainability, especially in light of our perceptions of being clean and green for many years – but the question that needs to be asked is, are we willing to be part of a global conversation and action? Are we ready to see that sustainability is a broader conversation that takes into account health, education and other outcomes as well as the environment? Adam will share about the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a framework for action, and ask the question of whether Tasmania should keep going alone, or align with the rest of the world.
