About the event

Join us on Tuesday, 12 March 2024, to witness the remarkable results of the three-year Pipers River Catchment Gorse project.

We are excited to celebrate these results with all landholders involved, and discuss the methods that have worked well and those that haven't. The event also presents an opportunity to identify future work on gorse in this catchment.

The day begins at 9.30 am at Pipers River Fire Station, where you can enjoy tea and coffee before a bus ride takes you on a tour of a number of the gorse sites throughout the catchment. Afterward, we will provide lunch at the Lock Shop Café in Lilydale before travelling back to Pipers River by 2.30 pm.

To secure your place, please RSVP by Friday, 8 March, to Kay Bailey at 0456853445 or kaybailey321@gmail.com.

If gorse is part of your world, this is an event not to be missed.  All welcome!

This project is supported by Tamar NRM through funding from the Tasmanian Government's $5 million Weeds Action Fund.
